Company Secretary

A person who is the member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. It includes any individual possessing the prescribed qualification appointed to perform the duties by a secretary or other ministerial or administrative duties.

Qualification
Every company having a paid up capital of not less than 50 Lakhs must have a whole time secretary. He should be a member of

 For a company with less than 50 Lakhs as paid up capital must possess one or more qualifications : Membership of ICSI Pass in the intermediate exam conducted by ICSI PG in commerce of Corporate Secretariship in any university in India.
