INTRODUCTION
The Jaipur foot was developed in 1968. Jaipur Foot is a rubber based prosthetic leg. Designed in Jaipur, it is inexpensive, water-resistant, quick to fit and manufacture. Fitting about 20,000 artificial limbs and about 30,000 Polio Calipers in a year.

SERVICES
Below Knee Prosthesis Above-Knee Prosthesis Polio Calipers ( Orthoses ) Polio Corrective Surgery Physiotherapy Tricycles, Wheelchairs, Crutches etc.

SACH-FOOT
1. SACH Foot doesn't look like a Normal Foot. 2. SACH Foot requires a closed shoe to protect as well as hide it. 3. Stern training & skills are required to fabricate SACH Foot. 4. Raw Material for fabrications is not locally available. ( in many parts of world)

JAIPUR-FOOT
1. It looks like a Normal Foot. 2. No such need or requirement with Jaipur Foot. But in case someone wants to wear a shoe, he can do it comfortably with a flat heel shoe. 3. Requires very little training to fabricate. 4. Raw Material for fabrication is locally available.

SACH-FOOT
9. It is costly and unavailability of the material further adds to the cost. 10. Rs.400000

JAIPUR-FOOT

9. It is very economical.

Technological Feature
Technology are closest to a normal human limb. Jaipur Foot is water proof. Jaipur Foot is a dual purpose foot. HDPE pipe is used instead of Polymer. It is really a quick fit limb. Jaipur Limb is light weight.

Jaipur Foot is cosmetically also closest to the human foot with toes etc. The normal life of Jaipur Foot piece is around 3 years.
