Summary Objective of the training Sample Area Research Findings Suggestions And Recommendations
Summary
The project is on the General Trade Management as well as marketing research for KARA and PURETTA. My training was initially on Marketing Research on the promotional strategies for PRIM. But as an Intern of Grasim, I worked for two months for the promotion and distribution of KARA and PURETTA in Greater Noida, according to the instructions of my ASM.
Sample Area
The sample area is Greater Noida where my training has been completed. Greater Noida is a big place in Area but not in population. Majority of population is of Students there. The colonies are spread too far and the markets are very few. The main markets of greater Noida are Jagat Farm, Tugalpur, Rampur, Alpha, Delta, Gamma, Beta shopping complex. All these markets have been covered.
Research Findings
After the completion of my training, I found that Greater Noida is good potential market for our wipes. People living here are of good standard and have an anxiety to use these products. Shop owners also showed a good response while demonstrating our products to them. Giving the distribution ship to Himalaya Retailers has been proved effective as most of the sales have been made from the Honey Money Top Stores.
The markets in Greater Noida are few but customers are very much. The areas which should be focused much are Jagat Farm, Alpha-I, Alpha-II and Tugalpur markets. The main customers are of the small packs i.e. 10s pack. So the distribution should focus on small packs.
So I suggest you to make proper availability of our wipes after mid July. As the markets are not much, there should be regular distribution of our products to the shops. The shops must be contacted after short intervals. I also recommend you to make available of the sachet pack or 10s pack of KARA in the Malls. I have found that people generally need to refresh their faces after spending so much time there. The small packs of KARA may be a good hit in the Malls.
