Government Responsibility

Identifying a competent partner to establish the BPO centre Provide the total investment Encourage/Induce companies operating in Kano to support the initiative e.g. Telecom companies operating in Kano can outsource minimum of 50 seats call centre to the BPO centre. Also 70% of the cleaners or junior staff of banks and telecoms to be outsourced to them from the centre, in return the government will ensure Tax concession, government patronage etc. The government should Allow the centre to run professionally independent of government interference. Put all the legal structures in order to ensure achievement of Aim. The government should encourage its parastatals to patronize the centre. The government should be responsible for setting targets for the BPO centre.
Partners responsibility
1. Setting up a world class BPO Centre 2. Managing the operations of the centre: a) Training a minimum of 200 people every two month and outsourcing minimum of 150 every two month in the training section. b) Also train 800 call centre operators in the first two month (the call centre will run two shifts, day and night) c) Identifying the needs of the companies /Govt. Parastatals and providing their requirement. d) Will be responsible for employees outsourced. e) Break even within five yrs of operations.
