Null Hypothesis:
There is no significant difference between the self confidence of working professional and students.
Alternate Hypothesis:
There is a significant difference between their self confidence.
Statistical analysis
Applying z- test Standard error =1.4966 z (critical )= at 5 % level of significance=2.933 z (observed)=1.5434
As z (observed) < z (critical) Hence null hypothesis is accepted. i.e. there is no significant difference between the self confidence of working professional and students.
Null Hypothesis:
There is no significant difference between the self confidence of males and females.
Alternate Hypothesis:
There is a significant difference between their self confidence.
Statistical analysis
Applying z- test Standard error =1.4725 z (critical )= at 5 % level of significance= 1.96 s.e.=2.8861 z (observed)=0.9179
As z (observed) < z (critical) Hence null hypothesis is accepted. i.e. there is no significant difference between the self confidence of males and females.
