Definition
Present Perfect Tense is Tense that use to show expresses the something happened (or never happened) before now, at an unspecified time the past

Function of Present Perfect Tense are : 1. To show activity that we did a few time at the last before now Ex : Verbal (+) Mr. Handoyo has washed his car (-) Mr. Handoyo has not washed his car (?) Has Mr. Handoyo washed his car ? (Yes, he has / No, he hasnt. He has not washed his car) Nominal (+) Jacko has been die (-) Jacko has not been die (?) Has Jacko been die ? (Yes, He has / No, he hasnt. He has not been die)

2. To show about an action which started in the past and continuous until now. Ex : (+) We have lived in Siantan (-) We have not lived in Siantan (?) Have we lived in Siantan ? 3. Use just to talk about an action was finished a few time ago. Ex : (+) I have just swept the floor (-) I have not just swept the floor (?) Have you just swept the floor ?

4.Use with ever, never, lately, recently. (+) I have never forgotten you. (+) I have been very busy lately. (?) have you ever gone to bali? (+) she has read a novel recently. 5. Use with yet in introgative or negative sentences. (-) he hasnt ate yet. (?) have you read this novel yet?

6. To show an activity started in past and continous until now. EX: (+) Erres has lived in Pontianak since 2010.

7. To show an activity started in past and finish when we talk about it. EX: (-) I havent seen you for weeks. Where have you been?

Present Perfect Continuous Tense is Tense that used to indicate the duration of an activity that began inthe past and continuous to the present It is used with the adverbs of time such as for, since, all morning, all day, all week, a long day, the whole day etc.
