The theme of my project is based on the presidents of the United States that are on dollar bills with the

exception of Benjamin Franklin. Students will be divided up into 6 groups; each group will be given a 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, or 100 dollar bill (fake of course). The goal of this project is to identify why their president is significant to our history. Students will present a timeline on a poster board or Microsoft excel explaining important moments of that presidents life. Students are encouraged to use pictures and other methods to educate our class.

Students will learn about important moments in the presidents life. A time-line will explain the order in which events occurred. The students will learn if the president created any laws, are those laws still in effect today, was there a war during the presidency, what number president they were, what was their political party, what advancements in technology occurred under the presidency, etc.
Along with the timeline explaining the presidents life, a large cut out of the presidents dollar bill is to be created by each group. Instead of the presidents picture in the center of the bill, an important moment of their presidency is to be drawn in the middle.
