To understand the concept of The Rule of Law To know the principles of the The Rule of Law To identify the limitation of The Rule of Law To evaluate the Rule of Law in the Constitution of Bangladesh.

Rule of Law
It means nobody is above the law, not the king, not the senate, not the people, not the police. Laws are written down and must be respected

Absence of arbitrary power Equality before law Constitution is the result of the ordinary law of the land

Rule of Law in the constitution of Bangladesh


the fundamental rights have been defined in Part III of the Constitution. The guardianship of the constitution has given to the Supreme Court. The independence of judiciary is affirmed and declared by Art. 94 (4) and 116A of the Constitution.

The Limitation of The Rule of Law


Art. 70 The Chief Justice and the Judges of the High Court Division and Appellate Division; the Chief Election Commissioner and the Election Commissioners; the Comptroller and Auditor General; and the Chairman and Members of the Public Service Commission shall be appointed by the President as per provisions of Arts. 95(1), 118(1), 127(1) and 138(1) of the Constitution.

Conclusion
With calls for good governance, transparency, trustworthy legal systems and accountability for crimes ringing out from the Arab world to Africa, Asia and Europe, the rule of law represented the worlds best hope for building peaceful, prosperous societies
