Types of Communication
There are 2 types of communication: 1. Verbal Communication.
2. Non verbal communication.

Verbal communication
Verbal communication is communication that uses words either : a. Written communication : Letter, news papers, or e mails etc The effectiveness of written communication depends on the style of writing, vocabulary used, and grammar.

Verbal communication
b. Oral Communication : Refers to the spoken words and can be established either: Face to face. Over phone. Voice chat on the internet

Body language
Body language is body movements that depend on a persons attitude or feelings.

She may look cool. Careful, You have a very negative signal, even if she is smiling.

Gestures
Gestures are communications like facial expressions, hand signals, eye gazing, and body postures.

Facial expressions
Facial expressions are a rich language in their own right, some facial expression are by products of emotion, while others such as winking or eye rolling are akin to gestures.

This is an aggressive gesture, indicating their hidden behavior as being aggressive.

Inability to converse in a language that is known by both the sender and receiver, could lead to misunderstanding between the sender and a receiver.

If a person who sends a message lacks subject knowledge then he may not be able to convey his message clearly. The receiver could misunderstand his message

Stress
When a person is under immense stress, he may find it difficult to understand the message, leading to communication distortion. At the time of stress, our psychological frame of mind depends on our beliefs, experiences, goals and values

Prejudice is a baseless and usually negative attitude toward members of a group.
