Digital Filter
Wiener filter
aims at designing a filter that would produce optimum estimate of a signal from a noisy environment.

The weights have a timevarying form, they are adjusted in an iterative fashion along the error surface. This is achieved in the direction of steepest descent of error surface, that is in a direction opposite to the gradient vector whose elements are defined by ; k = 1; 2; : : : ; p.

=(2P)+2RW Wopt = This system of equations is known as the WienerHopf equations and the filter whose weights satisfy the Wiener-Hopf equations is called a Wiener filter. only we want is to reduce the gradient of error square w. r. t. weight is equal to zero. For that we calculate the new weight continuously and finally reach to the optimized weight value. This is known as STEEPEST DESCENT APPROACH.

basis for the convergence speed of the LMS algorithm.

NLMS
Normalized LMS (NLMS) introduces a variable adaptation rate. It improves the convergence speed in a nonstatic environment.

FxLMS

FuLMS

RLS
recursively finds the filter coefficients that minimize a weighted linear least squares cost function relating to the input signals. exhibits extremely fast convergence. RLS adaptive filters give higher quality in the disturbance and noise cancellation.

provide the solution to the filtering problem with performance equal to the standard recursive least-squares (RLS) algorithm. FT-RLS filter provides this solution with reduced computational burden which scales linearly with the filter order. This makes it a very attractive solution in realtime noise cancellation applications.

FUTURE SCOPE
it is difficult to suppress the noise and keep the signal using linear filters when the spectrum of a signal is somewhat wideband and nonstationary, which is the usual case. The solution is the Adaptive Filtering using NEURAL NETWORK. So in future we aim to target real world multiple wideband noise and incorporate music source using Adaptive Filtering using Neural Network.

CONCLUSION
Here in this project we have tried to reduce such weed signals by using basic adaptive approach. We have implemented LMS algorithm and compared variations of adaptive algorithms NLMS, FxLMS, FuLMS, RLS , FTRLS. We have also seen the problems with the adaptive algorithms and the need of neural network. So in real time applications which involve thousands of such weed signals and knowing the fact that noise, at any cost, cannot be cancelled to cent percent, this basic approach cannot do us a good favour and keeps this research topic active in upcoming years.
