HIV AND AIDS AND CARE WORK

With reference to Article 27 which covers

prevention, treatment, care and support in relation to HIV and AIDS, the project has provided an opportunity for women especially to be empowered with information on HIV and AIDS , and economically, and hence participating in decision making in their homes leading to increased access to HIV and AIDS treatment for infected women, men and children.

SWAAZ

HIV AND AIDS AND CARE WORK

IS THIS ACTION SUSTAINABLE? CAN IT BE REPLICATED BY OTHER INDIVIDUALS, GROUPS AND ORGANISATIONS IN YOUR AREA AND BEYOND?
and the hammermill projects because members are being empowered at house hold level Others can emulate and sell milk to parmalat

Yes, it is. Especially the dairy cattle rearing, tailoring

SWAAZ

WHAT LESSONS HAVE BEEN LEARNED?

HIV AND AIDS AND CARE WORK Most men want to work where there is quick money It is very difficult to coordinate a project run by a group

because usually people want to leave the responsibility to the other person

Also, people usually want to quickly share profits among

themselves as adults forgetting the young like orphans and vulnerable children and the hearing impaired
