Initiation Process group: It is the process of defining and authorizing the starts of a NEW project or a new phase of a project. Planning process group: The most difficult and the most unappreciated process in project management. It includes the most processes. The main purpose of the planning is to facilitate execution

Execution process group: It includes the processes used to complete the work defined in the project management plans to accomplish the project requirements Monitoring & Control process group: It includes the processes that are performed to observe project execution so that the potential problems can be identified in timely manner and a corrective action can be taken.
