(point of sale), this module is used by frontline managers to handle and manage selling of products in the shop. Using this module frontline manager can view all products available in the shop with their details, generate and issues receipt, search for product availability in the shop The manager module serves as the admin interface; manager can also view details of all products in the shop, search for available products, modify price, edit product details, add new products, delete products, generate invoice and issue receipt. Generate report for different time frame like daily, monthly, periodic and bill report. The manager serves as the administrator signing up new users to the system. CONCLUSION
After an evaluation conducted around nine shops (see report for evaluation details) in Kuching both the frontline managers and managers were satisfied with the software. With his evaluation result, it is seen vividly that the system
INTRODUCTION
Point of sales content management system for SMEs computer shops is interactive software that is designed to provide an effective way of management goods inventory in a small computer shop. POS is an abbreviation for Point of Sale (or Point-of-Sale, or Point of Service). The term is applicable to a retail shop or store, the checkout/cashier counter in the store, or a location where such transactions can occur in this type of environment. Figure 1: point of sale system content management system help in the recording, co-ordination, management, and proper accounting of stock in a warehouse, store, or shop. This software focus on inventory features of a content management system. The admin serves as the backbone with all system data are stored. In the case of a distributed Point of sale system the data are stored in a data warehousing database. The system is embedded with CCTV camera that enables the monitoring of the shop through camera mandated on different cardinal points. Figure 4: POS interface design
