MOTIVATION:

It is defined as a driving force that initiates and directs behavior. Motivation is a kind of internal energy which drives a person to do something in order to achieve something. It is a temporal or dynamic state within a person which is not concerned with his/her personality. The definition of motivation is to give reason, incentive, enthusiasm, or interest that causes a specific action or certain behavior.

MOTIVATIONAL TOOLS OF RELIANCE INDUSTRIES:

Every day they write thought of the day on their office notice board.

Also the employees write thanks giving message to their colleagues to whom they want to say thanks, and on that message whose message will be the best that employees will be rewarded with some gifts.
They also conduct some soft skill development program for the employees. All Friday they conduct quiz test for the employees and its known as Friday ka funda Monthly wise they also ask the employees about their likings and disliking. Every Monday they choose fresh icon of the day, means who is groomed properly on that day, they give this title to that employee.

Then they arrange a small competition Kidoparents day on Independence Day. Those employees are having kids they will bring them to the office and the parents will search their kids also. They arrange a small competition for the kids like drawing, between the parents and kids. They also choose Dhrub tara and Pratibimb,its a kind of competition. They also give performance appraisal to all the employee in grades quarterly. Also they do promotion and increment for the deserving employees. Well these all are just to make the employees engaged in some other activities, apart from the work. So that the employees will feel relaxed and will be more interested to work in the organization

Motivated and happy employees make for a happy and productive company. A fact that most companies have come to realize. Employees are assets, assets that need to be valued and appreciated, especially in this period of high attrition, where better opportunities are always beckoning them. Employee motivation games help the organization come together and function as a team.
