The philosophy of UTM is the divine law of

Allah is the foundation for science and technology. Universiti Teknologi Malaysia strives with total and unified effort to develop excellence in science and technology for universal peace and prosperity, in accordance with His Will. UTMs motto is in the name of god for mankind. If we can observe from the motto, UTM use the word mankind instead of human. Why did they chose this term?.

From the definition of human it just referring

to a person; connected with people not with animal, machines or god; typical of people. While mankind, it is more specific to show all the people in the world which means they are all the same in certain aspects. For instance, the right of getting a helping hand when needed.

Once we succeed, we should help others in whatever conditions. Everyone have the right to get help as long as it is for good intentions. There has been a great deal of talk about "human rights", but very little discussion about the individual's responsibility to society. Society cannot provide the individual with rights and

freedoms if the individual is unwilling to provide

the society with responsible behavior in return.

Honesty involving two main aspect-sincerity and belief. Both are related. when discussing about good deeds, it involving the main element that is honesty. It is the root to noble personalities in professionalism.

Responsibility could be define as being able to

receive any possibilities that could happen from the

decision made. In addition, it also can be

responsible towards surrounding .

Sincerity is generally understood to be truth in

word and act. One who means what he says is a sincere person. One who does not mean he says is not a sincere man, and is perhaps even a hypocrite. Because of its purity , the terms sincerity has endeared itself. We love to be friends with sincere people, we also want to be known as sincere people.

As conclusion, all those things are the principle of

life. It is part of integrity. You will be able to appreciate the facts that you can go through difficult or surprise situations and come out as a leading force. Feel free and move with your conscience. Do not do it expecting

rewards and praises. Do it because you mean it and

hope for the best. Because the intension of doing the good deeds are all based on In the name of god for mankind.
