The case study focuses on the challenges faced by automobile industry particularly MARUTI in terms of global warming and environment sustainability. The main aspect of the case shows the various ways in which this company is allocating its resources efficiently. Also the main focus has been , how MARUTI enters into manufacturing its products without destroying the needs of the future generation.

In our prospective ,this case study reviews the adverse impacts of environmental degradation and inefficient utilization of human resources on the sustainability of corporate have prompted managements across the globe to look beyond profit.

As a result, the environmental and social dimensions of sustainability have come into sharp focus, making them an integral part of business strategy.

Objective of Sustainability Manufacturing

Examining the product life cycle involved in manufacturing. Trying to ensure economic growth minimizing environmental pollution. Providing awareness and training to employees.

It has been focusing on strengthening its operations, products and services from the viewpoint of economic, environmental and social sustainability .

There are various steps which are taken by MARUTI, which leads to saving of resources.
It has reduced its electricity consumption per vehicle by 20 per cent in the last nine year .

Water consumption by 46 % , and land fill waste by 67 %reduced . Carbon dioxide emission has declined 27 per cent in seven years
