These job roles usually involves big organisation positions and are usually well paid. These positions are likely to be organisations such as newspapers, film stations etc. The work patterns for a managerial role is usually irregular because you will be required to work when ever. This role is not very family friendly.

These wages are quite variable and can vary from 35000-95000 per annum and plus bonus.

Management job roles can vary from Directing Manager to Creative manager. The directing manager, manages basically the whole set. Whilst the creative manager in in charge of how everything looks.

Creative
This job entitles you to design things from clothes and costumes to designing sets and props. There are different levels of responsibility but each level being important to produce a final outcome.
These work patterns vary depending on yourself. You can choose to be Freelance, where you work for yourself and get work through your connections. This can however be inconstant especially if you are not organised because you only get paid for the length of time you work. You can also work hourly rates where you get paid hourly. Unfortunately you only get paid for what you work for.

You salary can depend on who you work for and the budget or the production.

So your salary would be 13000 and 18000 per year. But for more experience designers you can can up to 28,00 per year.

One of the job role involved in this field are shoppers, who go out and find material which will be required for the costume making. Another role is the designer they are in charge of the ideas and how it should look like.

Technical
Technical is in charge of everything to do with the camera, sound and composition also making sure the lighting is correct.
The typical starting salary for the technical job role is 16,000 18,000. However after 10 years experience you can earn from 30,000 - 35,000. freelance sound technicians can earn 230 500 after a 10 hour day.
Loaders are not used too much anymore but they load the film into the camera. The camera operator in in charge of taking orders from the director on how he wants a certain scene to be filmed. This entitles them to be good listeners, have good memory and the ability to ask relevant information.

Most of your work will be shift work because you are only needed at certain times. So its would either be from 6am to lunch time or 6pm to midnight.

Editorial
This role unfortunately means that you are never going to be on set to see the actors. But this is a very vital role, dealing with the special effects and editing of the entire production.
This job role is only required at the end of the production because your are just editing. So you are given a time period to complete the editing and you work office hours until you are done. Usually from 9am -5pm.

The national salary for an editor is 16,100 - 48,900 per annum. This however depends on the amount of editing you do.

The online editor adds titles and special effects and making sure that the final product meets the producers requirements. An offline editor puts all the edited sequences together to tell the story then hands over the roughly work to the online editor to add the other aspect to complete the product.

Research
This entitles you to find out information. For example if the movie is a historical film you would have to do research on their clothes, buildings, language etc. or research on the location to see if it is appropriate for what the producer had mind.

The salaries can depend on the amount of training and education an individual has had, but the wage can range from 300 - 600 per week.

This is only required at he beginning of the project so you will only have to work office hours.

An Historic researcher goes and finds out all the things that the production may need to make it look like a historic film. There can also be a researcher who just researches which locations would be suitable.

Finance
The main job role is the accountant who has to make sure the payments of the employees and actors are sorted out as well as the budget of everything, from costumes to filming equipment. Finance is required through out the project but you will only need to work office hours. Finance in the media earn from 40,000 - 45,000 per annum.

An accountant is one of the job role in finance the handle the money coming in and out the project.

Organisational
P.A's have the responsibility of making sure everyone has what they need at certain times, available transport from destinations, that the actors know where they need to be at what times and that the set is organised.
You will have to be on set at all times so you will have to work irregular hours as you are in charge of making sure everything runs smoothly.

The average salary for a job role in the Organisational field is 31,500 approx.

Locations manager who manages where everything would be filmed. Casting director auditions the actors and later on when the project is in production then becomes in charge of managing those actors.

Administrative
This department does not work on the set and never get to see the actors. These people have to make sure that the correct form are being filled in the emails are answered. Basically dealing with all the office work.

A personal assistant (P.A) can earn about 32000 to 38000 per year.

You will only be required to work office hours, as you work in an office.

The administrative job roles vary from the P.A. for the director who handles tasks. Another Office administrative deal with all the office works, they answer phones, emails etc.
