The world was established on 1st Nov 2008. The world group is owned by Mr. Srinivas Sahoo He is already in the business of Mining and steel at Dhekanal. His latest foray of his business diversification is retailing in the name of the world. His future plan is of opening around 28 stores at various locations in Orissa like Balasore , Rourkela , Sambalpur etc . He is the only local player in this big retail industry in Orissa.
INFRASTRUCTURE The Size of the Retail Outlet is 16,000 sq ft, in which 9,000 sq ft is operational area and rest is parking space. The outlet has four floors and each floor has separate section of items viz 1. Ground floor - FMCG 2. Ladies apparels 3. Gends apparels 4. Kids accessories , gifts and toys. There are two outlets of the same size at Dhekanal and Behrampur.
