Nestled in the Shivalik Range of the Himalayas, IIT Mandi will offer a world-class academic environment amidst natural splendour

where experimenting with research, academics and administration will be the norm where inter-disciplinary teams will discover and craft novel solutions to key challenges making a difference locally, nationally and globally

Started in 2008 with IIT Roorkee as mentor 538-acre campus in Kamand near Mandi Foundation stone laid in the campus on 24th Februrary 2009 First batch of students joined in July 2009 at IIT Roorkee campus
