The data on amenities and assets covers normal households only and excludes Institutional households
Key Results .
HOUSING - QUANTITY
Increase of 8 cr Census houses from 25 cr to 33 cr (T-33%;R-24%; U 54%) Increase of 6 cr Census houses used as residential and partly residential purposes from 19 cr to 25 cr (T- 31 %; R- 23%; U- 51%) Though figures of houseless population and infirm structures would be required for making accurate estimation of housing shortage, the trend seems to be a reducing one.
