The monograph presented is devoted to mathematical modeling of propagation and localization processes of forest fires as a controllability wave processes. The peculiarity of the book is that it is written from specialists on mechanics and control processes point of view. The complex of problems, linked
with processes of propagation and localization, is considered. Set of models
permitting to solve important applied problems are discussed. The link between the propagation processes and classical Hamilton mechanics, include
the theory of controllable dynamic systems is shown. The formalism of indicatrixes and figurotrixes as a work instrument for investigation and numerical
modeling the propagation processes is suggested. The model of wave processes wits dissipation based on the theory of generalized Hamilton-Jacoby
equations is worked out. The theory of localization control which permit to determinate as strategy of fire suppression and strategy of avoiding contact between fire and human personnel is suggested. Some problems of practical design the systems of modeling and managing the forest fire suppression are
considered: developing of the effective algorithms, information and cartographic support of such systems. The managing and training systems, based on
results of work presented are described.
The book intended to the scientists, sub graduates and designers of the information systems, who associated with problem of forest fire protection. It
may be also useful for students of appropriate specialties.
