Russian Federation Project Support for the restoration and development of
education system of the Chechen Republic.

There is a tendency to worse health in children in present time. New


conditions require new approaches and methods of work with children and their
parents. Early intervention in risk group children and deviant behaviour prevention
plays a major role.
Intellectual load is the main load at school age. Even mild partial intellectual
disorders hinder learning. Mental development delays and other pronounced
dysfunctions poor progress at school and consequent disadaptation are inevitable.
The manual lists main factors that cause poor progress in studies.
The problem of childrens mental health protection can be solved only by
application of methodic and psychological as well as social knowledge. This manual
describes a psychologists work with teachers, children and risk group children
parents.
