The article is concerned to the establishment of relationships between the nutrients characteristics of suspended organic matter in
water and the ecosystem trophic status. The investigations were conducted on lakes Naroch, Myastro, Batorino and Bolshiye Shvak-
shty, which differ in their trophic level. It was estimated that such parameters as nutrients concentration, the percentage of suspended
nutrients in the total elements contain are increased with higher trophy level of waterbody while the relative contain of nutrients in
seston is decreased. The C:N:P ratio doesnt show exact relations with trophic status of the ecosystem and is at the same level in all
investigated lakes. The comparison of the data obtained with the literature ones related to 19781981 has confirmed these patterns of
relationships.

Based on the growth under different temperature conditions, pH and NaCl concentrations, capability to utilize oil hydrocarbons
as a sole source of the carbon and energy, and presence of hydrolase in genome, gram-positive (10 strains) and gram-negative
(3 strains) perspective oil degrading bacteria were selected from among 46 bacterial strains isolated from soils of Belarus, Libya and Iraq.
