Target Volumes
These volumes have been set with regard to the Printers benchmark performance, the suggested service schedule and expected
unit life.

Target Reliability
The reliability of the Printers in the field will be affected by a number of factors including the operating environment, the
application, the skill of the operator, and network traffic. Kyocera sets the above targets for reliability but these should be seen as a
guideline only and may vary based on the reasons stated above.

Definitions
1. “Output” refers to a printed or copied page
2. “Average Monthly Volume” is the volume Kyocera expects to be the average actual volume in the field
3. “Print Volume Range” is the ideal volume range. Users can expect optimum performance at this volume.
4. “Scheduled Preventative Maintenance Interval” is similar to the scheduled servicing of your car where parts are replaced
according to the servicing manual.
5. “Machine Life “is achieved when the Printer has produced the volume stated above, or when 5 years has passed since initial
installation (whichever comes first).
6. “Colour ratio” is the percentage of colour pages, relative to the total volume, that Kyocera expects will be produced in the field.
