The Little Tower

1

Стоял в поле теремок. Прилетела
муха-горюха и стучится:
- Терем-теремок! Кто в тереме
живет?
Никто не отзывается. Влетела муха- Nobody answered. So she flew inside
горюха и стала в нем жить.
Прискакала блоха-попрыгуха.
- Терем-теремок! Кто в тереме
живет?
- Я, муха-горюха, а ты кто?
- А я блоха попрыгуха.
- Ступай ко мне жить.
Прыгнула блоха-попрыгуха в
теремок и стали они жить вдвоем.
Прилетел комар-пискун:
- Терем-теремок! Кто в тереме
живет?
- Я, муха-горюха, да блоха-
попрыгуха, а ты кто?
Once upon a time, there was a little
tower in the forest. A little fly saw it
and knocked on the door.
"Tower-tower. Who is it that lives in
this little tower?"
and started living in it.
A flea jumped by, saw the tower and
knocked on the door:
"Tower-tower. Who is it that lives in
this little tower?"
"I, the little fly, and who are you?"
"I am the jumping flea”
“ Come live with me!"
The flea jumped in and they started
living together.
A buzzing mosquito flew by.
"Tower-tower. Who is it that lives in
this little tower?"
"I, the little fly, and I am the jumping
flea, who are you?"

- А я комар-пискун.
Стали они жить втроем.
Прибежала мышка-норушка.
- Терем-теремок! Кто в тереме
живет?
- Я, муха-горюха, блоха-попрыгуха,
да комар-пискун, а ты кто?
- А я мышка-норушка.
- Ступай к нам жить.
Стали они жить четверо.
Прискакала лягушка-квакушка:
- Терем-теремок! Кто в тереме
живет?
- Я, муха-горюха, блоха-попрыгуха, "I, the little fly, I am the jumping flea,
комар-пискун да мышка-норушка, а I, the buzzing mosquito, and I, the lit-
ты кто?
- А я лягушка-квакушка.
- Ступай к нам жить.
Стали жить пятеро.
"I am the buzzing mosquito”
And three of them started living to-
gether.
And a little field mouse ran by and
knocked on the door,
"Tower-tower. Who is it that lives in
this nice little tower?"
"I, the little fly, I am the jumping flea,
I, the buzzing mosquito, and who are
you?"
"I am the little field mouse."
"Come live with us!"
And four of them started living to-
gether.
And a croaking frog hopped by and
knocked on the door,
"Tower-tower. Who is it that lives in
this nice little tower?"

"I am a croaking frog."
"Come live with us!"
And five of them started living to-
gether.

Прискакал зайка-попрыгайка:
- Терем-теремок! Кто в тереме
живет?
- Я, муха-горюха, блоха-попрыгуха,
комар-пискун, мышка-норушка,
лягушка-квакушка, а ты кто?
- А я зайка-попрыгайка.
- Ступай к нам жить.
Стало их шестеро.
Прибежала лисичка-сестричка:
- Терем-теремок! Кто в тереме
живет?
- Я, муха-горюха, блоха-попрыгуха,
комар-пискун, мышка-норушка,
лягушка-квакушка да зайка-
попрыгайка, а ты кто?
- А я лисичка-сестричка.
- Ступай к нам жить.
Стало их семеро жить.
Пришел к терему серый волк - из-за A gray wolf came by and knocked on

живет?
And a jumping rabbit bounced by and
knocked on the door,
"Tower-tower.Who is it that lives in
this nice little tower?"
"I, the little fly, I am the jumping flea,
I, the buzzing mosquito, I, the little
field mouse, I, the croaking frog, and
who are you?"
"I am a jumping rabbit."
"Come live with us!"
And six of them started living to-
gether.
And a sly fox ran by and knocked on
the door,
"Tower-tower. Who is it that lives in
this nice little tower?"
"I, the little fly, I am the jumping flea,
I, the buzzing mosquito, I, the little
field mouse, I, the croaking frog, I, the
jumping rabbit, and who are you?"
"I am a sly fox."
"Come live with us!"
And now there were seven of them.
the door,
"Tower-tower. Who is it that lives in
this nice little tower?"

- Я, муха-горюха, блоха-попрыгуха,
комар-пискун, мышка-норушка,
лягушка-квакушка, зайка-
попрыгайка да лисичка-сестричка, а
ты кто?
- А я серый волк - из-за кустов
хватыш.
- Ступай к нам жить.
Стали жить-поживать.
Пришел к терему медведь,
стучится:
- Терем-теремок! Кто в тереме
живет?
- Я, муха-горюха, блоха-попрыгуха,
комар-пискун, мышка-норушка,
лягушка-квакушка, зайка-
попрыгайка, лисичка-сестричка да
волк - из-за кустов хватыш, а ты
кто?
- А я медведь, всех вас давиш. Лягу
на теремок - всех раздавлю!
"I, the little fly, I am the jumping flea,
I, the buzzing mosquito, I, the little
field mouse, I, the croaking frog, I, the
jumping rabbit, I, the sly fox, and who
are you?"
"I am a gray wolf."
"Come live with us!"
So they lived happily in the little
tower.
Then a big bear came by and roared,
"Tower-tower. Who is it that lives in
this nice little tower?"
"I, the little fly, I am the jumping flea,
I, the buzzing mosquito, I, the little
field mouse, I, the croaking frog, I, the
jumping rabbit, I, the sly fox, I, the
gray wolf, and who are you?"
"I am the big bear. I will sit on your
tower and will squeeze everyone out. "

 The animals got scared and ran out of

the tower and went back to the forest

to live.

А медведь ударил лапой по терему и

And the bear smashed the tower.
разбил его.
