Dangerous liaisons of the left and right-conservative discourse have been discussed widely by different thinkers of the 20th century. Most sharply this issue
rung in the context of long standing debates between the left esoteric Walter Benjamin and the conservative utopist Carl Schmitt. Based on the texts of Benjamin
and Schmitt of the 20s and 30s focused on a range of issues such as sovereignty,
state of emergency or violence and language, the author exposes the irreducibility of the positions of these two thinkers and their fundamental political, metaphysical and ethical alternativeness. The article critically analyses the approaches
of famous modern day researchers to the theme referred to (Agamben), conditioned by their preconceived political. theological and metaphysical convictions.

The article explores the possibility of writing about archives. On the example
of Carl Schmitt, who is perhaps the last great documentalist of the 20th century, the impossibility of an archive economy are exposed. By making an inventory of Schmitts documents (which often refer to his second wife, Duanka
Todorovi) and reconstructing his writing preparation, the author emphasizes the unique importance of the archives as a space for happiness and always
renewed inspiration for a new departure or a completely new text. In other
words, the figure of the archive reveals the imminent impossibility of classifying certain elements, and that therefore every additional (re) construction of
these elements is structured as an autobiography or as a biography (Schmitts
biography), or as the archives themselvespure fiction.

The article discusses chorological frames of applicability of the concept of

state from the early Modern period to the beginning of the 20th century.
The State is not a universal concept for all epochs and peoples, but it strictly marks a specific political order, focused on the idea of sovereignty. Starting with Boden, this idea becomes the main paradigm of the political, based
on which not just all the political relations are built, but also spatial geographic configurations of a sovereign states. In addition, the continental representation of sovereignty and the spatial order it defines is opposed to the idea of
the sovereignty of maritime powers, which determines an alternative notion
to the political. An opposition of these two concepts of sovereignty results in
an unavoidable dualism of international law.
