удвоение опыта;
утроение опыта;
• Мысленно воспроизвести в сознании трейд - учетверение опыта;
• Просмотреть видеоролик этого трейда - упятирение опыта;
опыта;
опыта;
Secret
(Twenty Plus).
I am a guy who sits in front of the screen every trading day of the year and watches all the
market changes. That is just what works for me. You’re seeing things, and the wheels of your
subconscious are spinning. Whever you recognize it right away or not, your mind is working out
these patterns for you. Trading gets so ingrained in your psyche that it becomes second nature
like driving a car.
I always say that you could publish trading rules in the newspaper and no one will follow them.
The key is consistency and discipline. Almost anybody can make up a list of rules that are 80
percent as good as what we taught people. What they couldn’t do is give them the confidence to
stick to those rules even when things are
“Richard Dennis”

Similar, the active daytrader may trade a reversal pattern with active stocks near the open and
then trade a surprise earnings report later in the day with a single stocks and then trade a
trending stock into the close. Over the course of the day, the active trader has placed many trades,
each with an egde. It is the serial pursuit of opportunity that creates divesification each day. One
trade can fail and the day can still be profitable.
What that means is that successful traders must be able to innovate at two levels. First, they must
find new ideas and fresh opportunities. Second, theu must cultivate new sources of ideas and
opportunities. The first involves exploiting the edges we already possess; the second involves
identifying additional edges. The successful trader is never static, never dependent on one type of
market condition to make a living. Just as research and development is the lifeblood technology
and pharmaceutical companies, it is the source of long-term success for traders.
When successful traders aren’t trading, they are researching, developing, and innovating. When
unsuccessful traders aren’t trading, they're staring at screens and forcing trades. There is nothing
better for trading psychology than being at the cutting edge of a growing business.

Scott Redler’s Top 10 Trading Rules
1. Trading Is a Business
People think trading is like hitting the craps table at Cesars Palace. But it’s a business like any
other. Treat is as such
2. Trading Should Be Boring
Thrill-seekers always fail, if you don’t have a major swings up or down in your account, you are
doing it right.
3. Focus on Execution First
If you get good at anything, the money’s going to come eventually. So focus on developing your
skill, and strategies.
4. Keep an Even Temper
You can have all the inteligence in the world, but if you can’t stay calm when you’re losing money,
you’re toast.
5. Use a Reverse Psychology on Yourself
When you get too excited, your ego is getting the best of you. So trade more cautiously to correct
yourself.
6. Be Neutral
Don’t expect too much at the start of a trading day. And don’t expect too little.
7. Losing Small is Okay
Even the richest traders lose money all the time. But they also tend to lose small, so they can
recover.
8. Start Thinking Like a Pro
Pros don’t think about Ferrarris and private jets while they’re trading. Instead, we think about
what we could lose.
9. Be Confident
You need to keep your ego in check because a big ego can hurt you. But you also need the
confidence to give yourself a chance at success.
10.Stay Balanced
You can make all the money in the world. But without family, friends, and health, it won’t do you
much good. So stay balanced!

Out of the ones I did trade, how well did I trade them?
These are the questions I ask myseft every week to get better.
“I learned that an opinion isn’t worth that much. It is more important to listen to the market. I
became a reactive trader as opposed to an opinionated trader”

I’ve read hundreds if not thousands of journal entries during my years of working with traders.
One pattern shows up among the traders who make greater success:
Their perfomance journals are highly focused.
The trader surveys his or her trading and identifies one big thing to work on that will make the
greatest difference to the bottom line. They sustain that single focus until they have
demostrated significant progress. Then they move to another “big thing” goal to work on.
Trading Routines
The best traders have trading habits, daily routines they repeat day after day.
Here is am example of a good trading routine that will be suitable to most trading styles:
1. Get out of bed on time and be fully prepared before the market opens.
2. Adhere to the trading plan throughour the day.
3. Execute flawlessly.
4. Respect the predefined risk parameters.
5. Fill your trades in on the trading-journal log sheet.
General thoughts
I think I’made quite a bit of progress in regards to finding important levels and trading
only there. But I have to get better at spotting opportunity in general. Some of the stuff I
missed makes me want to kick my ass. The re-short opportunity in IBM… the bungled
short in AMRN lots of opportunity in SPY/VXX.
. I am not always on top of everything to recognize opportunity.
There is still no reason to size up whatsoever.
. While I have stabilized this week, my win rate has been horrible and commisions are still
eating me.
I do recognize the setups, my bias is quite often correct, and I do enter, but often at the
wrong spots, then I make mistakes like stopping out too early, dabble too much or
reducing size too early or too late.
. I guess it could be summed up as my timing being off.
. Will have to find ways to improve that.
I managed to make a tiny profit with a crazy low win rate (37%).
. That tells me that I’m getting much better at keeping losses small!
. I’ll have to keep doing that!
Another interesting observation in reviewing this months stats.
. All the biggest winners are Changing Fundamentals trades.
. Earnings season should be really interesting for me then.
Technical/Setup observations
I have to set more alerts at significant levels before I stop looking at a stock
IBM is the best example for this
Psychological observations
While I’m not crazy excited anymore and my heart isn’t pounding like crazy anymore,
what I still have to do is stay calm when I’m in a trade
I’ve stopped out early a few times this week
I also still had a few ocasions where I bought the top and sold the bottom which is simply
due to me not having the nerves

MOMO TRADERS
@lx21
Even when the money was good, there was a side of me that was very skeptical, so I continues to
spend a lot of time researching for new ideas, new strategies, and new setups. I was making more
money then I ever dreamed of, yet I wasn’t sitting back taking a vacation.
During premarket I’ll have orders either five or queued up and ready to be sent. Because I’am
prepared, I’ve already got a pretty good mental idea of support and resistance areas, so it's not like
I’m doing the analysis on the fly. By the time the bell rings I know what I’m looking for.
I want to consider everything. I want the full context of the trade. I want to know if there’s other
action in that sector, if the market is having a big day or not, if the stock is up because chat rooms
are chasing it, if the company put out press release that morning, if there was a similar pres
release a week ago, and how people reacted to it a week ago. I want to have a feel for who is
buying the stock, what type of traders they are, does the stock tend to make sustained moves, and
what is actually the catalyst. I want to understand the bigger picture by putting together all the
pieces.
About stops
As soon as thesis for the trade starts to deteriorate, I want to get out of the trade.
If I short a stock expecting it to fade following the catalyst, but it just dips and then
resumes in momentum, I will stop out.
If I’m shorting a stock and expecting an extended fade as people slowly lose interest, but
the stock instantly craters instead, my thesis is gone and I’m just going to get out.
So if you're not predicting, what are you doing then?
Reacting. As a trader, I find the best state of mind to be in is always one of reacting. So I set up the
story, I have my thesis, and then I react to the trade. If it doesn’t do what I expect, I adapt
accordingly.
If I’m more determined than the next guy, I’ll do it. Like an athlete, if I train hard, I’ll win.
Chart patterns cannot be looked at in a vacuum. It can be interpreted different ways depending on
the context of the catalyst, the market environment, and all these different factors…
As a youth I spent an inordinate amount of time playing with statistics, so obliviously I had some
inclination towards trading, and yet I still built it up through time and practice, so it kind of goes
both ways.
About gains
The best way I know for a trader to push past that is to stop defining success compared to the real
world. Think of it in terms of trading.
Think of it as poker chips…
Yes, the more you can stop thinking of it as money, the better. Think of it as a game or sport. If
your P&L were literally points and not dollars, you wouldn’t have nearly the same mental hang-
ups. In trading, the objective is to score the most points possible. And yet we have trouble those
points translate into real dollars which buy things and sell things and pay the bills.
What’s something new traders should know?
I feel like one of the biggest, most important concepts to understand as a trader is that we don’t
get paid for working. This is one of the few jobs in the world where we can show up, work 10
hours and make nothing, or even worse, lose money. We don’t get paid for sitting in front of the
screen, no matter how long we do it. We get paid by waiting for opportunities and then
capitalizing them. A trader is opportunity driven. And no matter how hard we work, we cannot
create an opportunity. Working harder will not make an oppotunity appear. It’s either there to be
found or it doesn’t exist. We all have this mentality that we want to get paid, but trading when
there is no good opportunity is a great way to lose money. I see newer traders doing this all the
time.
@elkwood66
Once a trade starts go to green, a lot of traders want to pull the trigger and start paying
themselves, but you have to remember one thing: long are going to panic. You have to look at the
big picture and understand that when a stock fails, people are ready to bail, especially if the stock
is trash to begin with.
I remember one day NQ cracked and I started covering into the first wash before I noticed
not only were you not covering, you were adding to your short
That’s the double down, my man. What’s the worst that’s going to happen if you add? Give back
the money you’ve already made in the trade? Fine. I’d rather double down on a winner than do
what most traders do and double down a lose, compounding their losses.

About ego
Some traders don’t want to be wrong and they let ego get in the way, but they’re going to eat shit
doing that. You humble yourself before the market humbles you.
Trading rules
My main rule is to stick to your plan, which means cutting your losses. That’s obvios.
Second rule is to come prepared to the stock market
I had no clue. Five weeks later it opened for trading about $4 or $5, so my $5K was now worth
around $15K. This was right at the start of senior year, and I thought, well shit, this is what I’m
going to do. I’m going to short! And that’s when I really started to study overbought patterns that
shoot up and then come right back down. I quickly got an huge hot streak and by the time I
graduated in May I had turned that initial $5K into a million bucks.
I’m looking for overbought charts. I want something that looks extremely parabolic. I do also look
for oversold opportunities to go long, but it’s so much easier for me to find an overbought
situation that I think is going to fall that it is to a falling knife that I think is going to bounce. Some
knives keep falling day after day, and it’s not where I make my money.
I might try a short, but I usualy like to wait for the trend to break before jumping in. Why fight the
trend? If something’s going up, I’m not touching it. I prefer a breakdown on heavier volume when
sellers are jumping in.
About entry
First sign of weakness. But when it does break support, I’m jumping in with both feet. I scale in
and look for confirmation. Say I want a full position of 10K shares. I might take a starter position of
2K shares first. Then if the stock stays weak and it’s still downtrending, I add a couple thousand
more here and there as it goes.
Favorite setup
My most reliable setup is shorting a stock that’s up huge three or four days in a row, something
like APT which went from $4 to $10 in three days.
I am very confident that a stock that has run extremely hard for three or four days is going to offer
a nice pullback.
Set a targets
Not a firm target When I place a trade I’m looking at short term charts but also
long term charts to see the bigger picture. I take a look at 3-month chart or 6-month chart to see
how far the stock could potentially fall.
Just like I’m scaling into a trade, I’m scaling out. If it drops 50 cents, I’ll cover a quater of the
position. If it falls another 25 or 50 cents, I’ll cover another quater. Scaling out all the way down.
Advice
Patience. I’ve gotten lazy about it, but what I started to do was a print out all the biggest winners
form the previous year on BigCharts.com.
I'd print out the chart of anything that went from something like $2 to $20. Then I’d print out
another chart of the same stock as it went from $20 back down to $4 or $5 or whatever. I kept
copies of these to remind myself that these patterns would repeat themsevles over and over
again. They go way up, they come way down.
If a particular setup doesn’t make you money, why the hell are you even trading it, let alone with
size?
About losses
I’ve seen it snowball into bigger and bigger losses. It gets in your head and that’s no way to trade.
You can’t trade unless you’re thinking clearly, and when you’re losing money quickly, you’re
definitely not thinking clearly. It’s the best to just walk away. At the vely least, take a break, go
outside for 20 minutes and sit in silence, just get away from your computer. Once your head is
clear you can decide whether or not to continue trading.
Stick with what you know and what you’re good at. Be happy with it.
Traits to become a successful trader
In my case, I’m addicted to the market and have been from a young age. And I love the market. I
had no problem taking all the time in the world to study. I was in college, didn’t have a wife or
kids, and I didn’t need trading to provide an income. I would just study constantly. I would study
until I fell asleep. Lazy people who want instant gratification won’t be successful traders. I don’t
think trading is any different from other professions in the sense that you have to put in the effort
and hours to become a pro. People just starting out come to me for shortcuts, but honestly you just
have to study.
@modern_rock
— turned $50K of home equity into over $10 million in profits.
I mortgaged my house and took out $50K to try trading again. Only this time I knew I could not
lose that money, because I’d lose my house if I did.
I had one year where I only had seven red days and another year where I only had 12 red days.
And I traded evey single day.
I was a robot. And it has to be reflex. You have to get to the point where you don’t think, you just
react. The market moves too quickly for you to second-guess yourself. I compare it to being an
athlete. They don’t think. They react. Once trading becomes instinctual, all confidence problems
are solved. You just act.
I force myself to sit all day and concentrate. I don't rely upon past success. I treat it like I’m staring
from stratch with no bankroll — like I need the money. Each day is a new day. Doesn’t matter if
you’re up already this week, what have you done today? Pay yourself everyday.
Trading Rules
Don’t fight the trend. Cut your losses. Don’t add to losers. Remember you are not smarter that the
market. The market doesn’t give a damn what you think. If you can do all those things, life will be
easy.
Every bad trade gives me the learning experience necessary for my winning trades.
Success in trading
Success in trading is just what my P&L looks like at the end of the month. That’s is.
Trading rule
I like the quote, “Trade the ticker, not the company”. I’m basically trading patterns more than I’m
trading stocks. Also cut your losses quickly, even though I still struggle with that one. And make
sure to pay yourself along the way. Take profits. Go for singles, not home runs. I knew a trader
who would swing for the fances on every trade. He would never pay himself and end up watching
these nice gains turns into losers. Once he finally realized his flaw and made the change, it was a
night and day difference. He became consistently profitable.
Tom O’Reilly
— he doesn’t publicize his trades often, but when he does, it’s easy to see why he’s made tens of
millions of dollars in the market.
I pitched a buddy of mine to lend me the money, but he turned me down. Then I pitched my
parents. My mom said there is no chance, because they didn’t have that kind of money. But my dad
and I share a similar risk-taking personality. He used to bet the horses every day when I was a kid.
So he eventually got my mom to cave in and they mortgaged the house, lending me $40K. So now I
had $46K and the bank let me open the account with it. I told my parents I’d pay them back within
a year. A month later I had turned that $46K into around $200K and had already paid them
back. Within 6 months I had grown the account to a million bucks. The market was going
crazy.
Do you have a set amount of profit you’d like to make each day?
I try to average $15K to $20K profit per day. But I don’t stop trading for the day if I reach those
numbers — it’s just something in the back of my mind. I just know $15K to $20K per day usually
amounts to a $3 or $4 million year.

Adding to a losing position is one of the best ways to end your trading career.
Trading on margin is the surest way to emotional decision making and eventually will
wash you out of the business.
It's ok to be wrong but it's NEVER ok to "STAY WRONG".
Most losing streaks start because a "basic' rule was broken. Emotions taking over
Good fundamental analysis and proper technical trading is a killer combination.
Think CANSLIM / IBD (investors Business Daily)
The best technical patterns is the BULL FLAGS. It comes in many varities. Learn to spot
them.
More market bottoms take place in October than in any other month. A simple
observation that i made over the years.
Always be aware when short interest on the NYSE starts to hit record highs. Normally
means we are getting close to a major bottom.
Every stock will go thru a period of accumulation, topping out, distribution and
bottoming and a new cycle begins. Rinse, repeat.....
Big long candles on big volume are often the start of something bigger. Scan and track
those stocks. Many will end up being big winners
Your 'hardest' work should be done while the market is closed. So that when the
market opens, you will be prepared once your setups become active.
Wining and losing streaks come in cycles. Be aware which cycle YOU are currently in. Be
aggressive when winning and confidence is high
In bull markets, you buy dips and trade breakouts when momentum is clearly UP. In bear
markets, you short weak low volume bounces and short breakdowns when momentum is
clearly DOWN.
If you have no solid plan (i.e. Setup, proper entry, stop loss, exit strategy, target), then
why are you in the trade?
You want to enter stocks that have the BEST bases on ALL TIME FRAMES. Weekly,
daily, 60 min, 30 min, 10, 5 min. << the more time frames align, the higher the
probability the trade.

I still cant bring myself to long something w/ size that I know is being manipulated for the sole
purpose of dumping on retail. Yeah u can try to get out right b4 they pull the bids, but that's like
marrying a Kardashian & hoping to divorce her right before she f*cks up ur life.

В ответ @team3dstocksi gave up trying it years ago , my finger was on the sell trigger on all dips
and i just couldnt pull off the long trade with a profit on trash. Not that it doesnt work , i just saw
every dip as "the fucken end" so i gave up. needless to say but clearly i dont need that skill
AllDayFaders
same. I go in saying "ok starter long only, i ll add on the next dip". but the moment I see that L2
shift or red prints etc it's "omfg iim gonna miss the short". also nothing worse than getting
dumped on a stock u knew was trash and were planning to short higher. #superFail

2016 Recap
Admittedly, I had not grown as much as I would have liked, and by grown, I'm simply referring to
my position sizes. Most were between 1-4K, occasionally getting into the 5-10K size range in the
latter half of the year, and that was about it. I can count on two hands the amount of trades I was
over 10K shares, and on one hand the times it was over 20K shares. I'd like to get to the point
where I can really hammer the big ones, and I think you need a certain amount of mental capital to
do that, which I hope to find by accomplishing my 2017 goals listed below.
Mentally & consistency wise, I think I grew a ton. I got to a point where I feel balanced, and fully
expect to be green every day, not in a cocky way, just a confident one, and when I was red, it didn't
bother me because it was almost always planned. Planned in the sense the red days were very
controlled, and just resulted from ideas that didn't work out, stops were in place & adhered to, I
didn't continue to aggressively trade on those days trying to turn them green like I would have in
the past, etc. Lull & boredom trading have become very rare, I still do it once in a while, but much
less often. I've become an avid reader to pass the time in those situations, which has a double
benefit. Not only am I not trading crap, I'm learning a lot about life and how to improve myself
outside of trading, which inadvertently helps improve your trading, you just don't realize it. In
2015 before I opened my room, I'd go to the gym during the lull to avoid it. 2016 was books. 2017-
20XX will also be books. Lot of good tweaks this year.
I had an overall win rate for the year of 76.9%, so green just about every 3 out of 4 sessions give or
take. Very pleased with it.

If your business is trading, basically your job is to make money by acting on prediction of price
movements.
That is pretty wide and undefined:
job: what kind of job? Part-time/full time, employed/self employed, from office/from home, etc.
make money: how much money? X per day? A percentage of capital per month? What percentage
and what capital? Is it realistic? Is it enough? etc.
acting: what tools will you use to act? What brokers? What platforms? What markets? What
instruments? What time frames? etc.
prediction: what will you base them on? Fundamental news? Technical analysis? Price action?
Statistical patterns? Indicators? Systems? Gut feeling? etc.
price movements: how big? How small? How frequently? How do you measure them? etc.
And on top of all these issues you have the more general ones: what are your objectives? how
would you measure success? When will you call it a day if it does not work? What are the risks? Do
you have what it takes?
