MATH 4, THIRD QUARTER

WEEK 1-7
WEEK 1 OBJECTIVE- PARALLEL, INTERSECTING LINE, PERPENDICULAR
LINE.
Parallel lines- are lines that do not meet.
Intersecting lines- are lines that cross each other
Perpendicular lines- are lines that intersect and form square corners.
ACTIVITY WEEK 1- TELL WHETHER THE GIVEN PAIR OF LINES ARE
PARALLEL, INTERSECTING OR PERPENDICULAR
ANSWER
WEEK 2- ANGLES (Right angle measure exactly 90 degree, Acute angle
measure less than 90 degree, Obtuse angle measure more than 90
degree)
ACTIVITY A. WEEK 2
Identify whether the angles is RIGHT, ACUTE OR OBTUSE ANGLE
1. Obtuse angel 2. Acute angle

3.Right triangle

OBJECTIVE 2 TRIANGLE AND QUADRILATERAL – describe and illustrate

properties (Triangle is a polygon with 3 sides, 3 vertices and 3 angles,
total degree in any triangle is 180 degree. While quadrilateral is a
polygon with 4 sides and 4 angles, sum of all angles in quadrilateral
measure 360 degree.)
ACTIVITY B REVIEW. TRUE OR FALSE
1. Triangle has 4 side. ( false, triangle has only 3 side)
2. The sum of angles in quadrilateral is measure 180 degree.
( false . the sum all interior angle in quadrilateral is 360 degree)
3. The sum of angles in triangle is measure 360 degree ( false.
Triangles has 180 degree not 360 degree )
4. .Quadrilateral has 4 side ( true)
5. Triangles and quadrilaterals are polygons. ( true)
WEEK 3 Objective 1: Triangle according to their sides and angle.
TRIANGLE ACCORDING TO THEIR SIDES;
1. Equilateral triangle – all sides have the same length
2. Isosceles triangle- two side have the same length
3. Scalene triangle- it has no equal sides, all sides have different
lengths
TRIANGLE ACCORDING TO THEIR angle;
1. Right triangle- it has right angle measure exactly 90 degree
2. Acute triangle- it has 3 acute angles. Each measuring less than 90
degree.
3. Obtuse triangle- it has one obtuse angle measure more than 90
degree.
Objective 2 different kind of quadrilaterals, square, rectangle,
parallelogram, trapezoid and rhombus.
Rectangle- is a quadrilateral with four right angles.
- The opposite sides of a rectangle are parallel and equal
in length.
Square- all sides are equal and have four right angle.
Rhombus- all four sides are equal in lengths. Opposite sides are
parallel and opposite angles are equal.
Parallelogram- two pairs of parallel sides. Opposite sides are parallel
and equal in length. Opposite angles are equal in measure.
Trapezoid- has one pair of opposite parallel sides.
ACTIVITY REVIEW OBJECTIVE 1

ANSWER ( 1C, 2A, 3B, 4F, 5D, 6E)

ACTIVITY REVIEW OBJECTIVE 2

WEEK 4 RELATE TRIANGLE TO QUADRILATERAL
Triangle is half of a quadrilateral. The sum of the interior angle of a
quadrilateral is 360 degree while the sum of the interior angle of
triangle is 180 degree.
ACTIVITY REVIEW ANSWER
WEEK 5 DETERMINING MISSING TERMIN A SEQUNCE OF NUMBERS
( odd, even, prime, composite and multiple of a number.)
ACTIVITY REVIEW
PATTERN OF DESCENDING EVEN NUMBERS ( basta descending mag
minus sa pagkuha sa common difference, basin makadumdum ra sla
ana iingun lang, pagnalimut na gani sla pag bunos na lng ug isa pra
naa sla guide unsaon)
A. DESCENDING EVEN NUMBERS
12, 10, 8,6, 4,
B.ASCENDING ODD NUMBERS PATTERN
1,3,5,7,9
C.PRIME NUMBER
2, 5, 7,11, 13

D. COMPOSITE
4,6,8,9, 10

E.

10 20 40 50
30 60
F. ( last objective sa week 5 “ find the missing number in an equation
involving properties of operations”
Commutative property- states that changing the order of the numbers
does not affect the answer.
Associative property-states that changing the grouping of the number
factors does not affect the answer.
Distributive property- states that when a factor is given as asum,
multiplying each addend by the other factor before adding does not
change the product.
ACTIVITY F. fil in the blank. Find the missing term
1.) 7+3 = 3+7
10 = 10

2.) (2 x6) x 5 = 2x ( 6x 5)
12 x5 = 2x 30
60 = 60

3.) 8 x ( 5+2) =( 8 x 5) + ( 8 x 2)
8 x 7 = 40 + 16
56 = 56

“kanang mga red nga numbers ug heart shape, mao na sla ang blanko
pag abut sa board kay mura siag fil in the blank.”
WEEK 6 ELAPSED TIME- The amount of time that passes between a start time and
an end time. ( I subtract ang time ended sa time started, ang answer maoy elapsed time)

Answers
1. 2:30 or 2 hours and 30 minutes
2. 1:30
3. 3:00
4. 3:46 or 3 hours and 46 minutes ( I remind sla sa number 4 need
sla mag barrow ug 1 hour)
5. Word prolem answer 2:35 minutes
WEEK 7 PERIMETER
OBTV : visualize, measures with appropriate tool “ ruler and meter
stick”, finds the perimeter of any given plane figure like square,
rectangle and etc.
ACTIVITY A
B.

C.

“ by objective ang activity mao tulo na kabuuk lone,, ikaw na bhala

mag chunk like kda week ug objective tag two lang ka item ma review
basta lang ma review ang mga week. Gin in ana usa nanako lone pra
naa naka view daan sa 3rd quarter nga I exam…
