Unsere Kunden sehen sich immer wieder neuen Situationen

Fortschritt ist unser Maßstab
Mehr als 60 Jahre erfolgreiche Unternehmensgeschichte ist
nur möglich, wenn man Fortschritt als Maßstab festlegt�
Seit 2007 gehört die MEN zur CBC Gruppe und hat seitdem
einen Eigentümer, der sich engagiert um die Firma kümmert�
Dazu gehören Investitionen in den Standort, die Technologie
und vor allem in die Mitarbeiter� Auf dieser Basis werden in
Nassau hochwertige Produkte entwickelt und produziert�
Bereits ab der Gründung 1957 hat die MEN Patronen für die
deutsche Bundeswehr und die NATO-Partner hergestellt�
Deshalb waren die hohen Qualitätsansprüche von Seiten der
Behörden und des Militärs vom ersten Tag an grundlegend
für die Produktion� Mit der Zeit gingen die Anforderungen aus
den verschiedenen Anwendungsbereichen immer weiter aus-

einander, oder wurden noch spezifischer� Um jedem Kunden
die bestmögliche Lösung anzubieten und die Produktselektion
zu vereinfachen, entschied man sich die Produkte entspre-
chend den vorhandenen Kundenstrukturen mit den drei Linien:
Military-, Police- und SniperLine zu kategorisieren� Dies bietet
des Weiteren den Vorteil, dass die technischen Fertigungs-
und Prüfparameter auf Anhieb erkennbar sind� Während die
Polizeipatronen meistens nach TR (Technischer Richtlinie
Polizeimunition) zertifiziert sind, erkennt man die qualifizierte
Bundeswehrmunition an der „DM“-Bezeichnung im Produkt-
namen� Diese steht für „Deutsches Modell“ und wird durch
das Bundesamt für Ausrüstung, Informationstechnik und
Nutzung der Bundeswehr (BAAINBw) vergeben�

Progress is our standard
More than 60 years of successful corporate history is only
possible with progress as a stipulated standard�
Since 2007, MEN belongs to the CBC group� Since then, the
owner is committed to taking care of his company� This inclu-
des investment in the site, the technology and in particular
also the employees� Small-calibre cartridges in high quality
are developed and produced in Nassau on this basis�
Since it was founded in 1957, MEN has produced cartridges
for the German Bundeswehr and its NATO partners� This
made it vital for production to meet the high quality demands
of authorities and the military from the first day onwards�
Over time, the requirements of the different application
areas moved farther and farther apart or were specified even
more� In order to offer the best solution to every customer

and to make the product selection easier, the products were
classified in three lines to match existing customer structures:
The Military-, Police- and SniperLine� This also has the benefit
of reflecting the technical production and inspection criteria
immediately� While police cartridges are usually qualified
to TR (Technische Richtlinie; technical directive police ammu-
nition), military ammunition for the Bundeswehr can be
recognised by the "DM"- designation in the product name�
This means "Deutsches Modell" – German model – and is a
mark awarded by the Federal Office of Equipment, Information
Technology and Use of the Bundeswehr (Bundesamt für
Ausrüstung, Informationstechnik und Nutzung der Bundes-
wehr; BAAINBw)�

Unser Beitrag zum Umweltschutz
Umweltschutz ist ein Thema, das für die MEN schon seit lan-
ger Zeit einen sehr hohen Stellenwert hat und auch im tägli-
chen Ablauf immer im Fokus steht�
Deshalb sind die Maßnahmen, die man zum Schutz der Um-
welt und der Sicherheit eingeführt hat auch weit höher als
vom Gesetzgeber vorgeschrieben� Abwasserentsorgung, Müll-
verwertung und Recycling sind hier nur ein paar der wichtigen
Schlagwörter� Wie erfolgreich dieses bewusste Handeln ist,
bestätigt das jährliche Umweltzertifikat vom „Grünen Punkt“�
Dieser ganz bewusste Umgang mit den Produkten hat auch
die Entwicklung beeinflusst und kontinuierlich die – wo immer

möglich – schadstoffarme und schwermetallfreie Produktion
vorangetrieben� Durch diesen stetigen Prozess ist die MEN
heute in der Lage viele Patronen des Portfolios als „Green

Our contribution to environmental protection
Environmental protection is a subject having a very high
relevance for MEN and that is always at the focus in daily
processes�
Therefore, the measures that have been introduced to protect
the environment and to increase safety are also far higher
than those required by the legislator� Waste water discharge,
garbage disposal and recycling are just some of the most
important keywords� The annual environmental certification
of the "Grüner Punkt" confirms the success of our environ-
mentally conscious action� This very deliberate handling of the
products has influenced development as well as continually
driven production with low hazardous substance contents
and without any heavy metals where at all possible� This
continuous process has enabled MEN to declare some of its
range's cartridges as "Green Ammunition" today� Every
product marked with this logo is perfectly lead-free and
contains only components low in hazardous substances�
