USAGE / PRECAUTIONS DEMPLOI

Description des conditions normales dutilisation : La boussole C Quechua 400 est conue pour dterminer une direction angulaire (appel galement CAP ou AZIMUT) par rapport au Nord magntique.

Restriction dusage/prcautions demploi

Une boussole doit toujours tre utilise HORIZONTALEMENT. Il est trs important dviter les frottements sur le pivot du cadran en maintenant lappareil avec 5 dcart maximum par rapport a lhorizontale. La boussole dtecte le champ magntique terrestre. Il est trs important que lobjet soit loign de toutes sortes de sources deperturbations lectromagntiques (haute tension, missions dondes tlphone portable, radio, tlvision, objets contenant des mtaux ferreux). La boussole dtecte le Nord MAGNETIQUE qui nest pas exactement au mme endroit que le nord gographique. Le dcalage (la dclinaison) dpend de la position de lutilisateur sur le globe. Valeurs de dclinaisons pour quelques grandes villes mondiales. Pour votre ville, entrez une valeur moyenne entre 2 villes proches.

Si la dclinaison est Ouest (W), dduisez la valeur indique de la valeur lue. Si la dclinaison est Est (E), ajoutez la variation la valeur lue. La position du Nord magntique varie galement dans le temps, mais ces variations sont ngligeables sur un laps de temps de quelques annes. Une boussole est un instrument de prcision. Ne la laissez pas tomber. Le fonctionnement de la boussole dpend de la temprature. Lhuile qui ralentit laiguille fige ou se liqufie en fonction du froid ambiant. Pour conserver ses performances, maintenez la boussole temprature ambiante (sous un vtement par exemple). La boussole ncessite quelques secondes pour se stabiliser. Ne tenez compte de la mesure quaprs stabilisation complte de laiguille. Une boussole nest rien sans une carte. Prfrez une carte dune chelle disponible sur la boussole. Pour une utilisation optimale, munissez-vous galement dun crayon de bois et dune gomme.
