giacomini confirms the care to the product quality, by adopting the European mark
KEYmARK
for the thermostatic radiator valves. The new quality mark will replace
the mark Cencer , used till today. Keymark is an European conformity mark belonging to CEn (European Committee for standardization), that sets up to become
the European quality symbol, harmonizing the single national certification schemes.
Keymark is therefore more suited to the requirements of an international reality such
as giacomini, committed to exporting italian quality all over the world.
The advantages of the Keymark application are important
Testing of the radiator valves according to the European standard
Quality guarantee of the manufacturer, who shall apply the quality management system at least at ISO 9001 level
Samples of radiator valves collected directly from the current production by an independent inspector

APPLICATION TO TWIN PIPE SYSTEMS. In order to use R304T valve with twin pipe systems it is necessary to close the by-pass pipe completely,
acting on the external lockshield valve (E) with a 10 mm allen key. The balancing of the flow that crosses the heating element is obtained by
regulating the internal lockshield valve (I) with a 4 mm allen key. The complete closure of the internal lockshield valve allows to disconnect the
radiator from the system. For correct functioning of the valve the sensor needs to be installed in a way that it can protrude at least 23 mm
inside the tail piece. A good performance of the heating element can be obtained by using sensors long at least 2/3 of the radiator. For optimal
functioning of the valve the fluid should hit the bonnet control unit in opening direction, that is the flow pipe needs to be connected to the
connection nearest to the heating element.

FONCTIONNEMENT BITUBE: Pour obtenir un fonctionnement bitube, fermer le by-pass en tournant compltement la tige externe (E), laide
dune cl hexagonale 10mm, dans le sens des aiguilles dune montre. La tige interne (I) permet, laide dune cl hexagonale 4mmde faire
lquilibrage hydraulique du corps de chauffe ou offre la possibilit disoler le corps de chauffe (fermer compltement le volant manuel/la tte
thermostatique et la tige interne) et de lenlever tandis que linstallation reste en fonction.
Pour garantir le bon fonctionnement, le tube dinjection est serr dans la douille de lensemble et doit tre positionn bien ras du bord
infrieur de la douille. La longueur du tube dinjection doit toujours tre suprieur 2/3 de la longueur du radiateur. Le sens de circulation
nest pas impos mais pour les grands corps de chauffe il faut utiliser la nipple la plus proche du corps de chauffe pour raccorder larrive.
