called the sons of God.
5. Myrrhbearing women came to the grave and
heard an Angel cry aloud, ‘Christ hath risen,
enlightening all things’.
Blessed are they that are persecuted for
righteousness sake, / for theirs is the Kingdom of
Heaven.
6. Let us all with one accord praise Christ, who was
nailed to the tree of the Cross and delivered the
world from error.
Blessed are ye when men shall revile you and
persecute you, / and shall say all manner of evil
against you falsely, for My sake.
Holding fast to thy inspired teaching, we reject
every false invention of the heretics, and we put
them all to flight with thy holy writings, O Gregory.
Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, / for great is
your reward in Heaven.
O blessed of God, thou hast refuted the foolish
wisdom of the heretics. He who is Himself the true
Wisdom came to dwell in thy heart, and with His aid
triumphantly thou hast broken their rebellious pride.

his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he

вмеща́тися ни при две́рех: и глаго́лаше им
сло́во. И приидо́ша к Нему́, нося́ще
разсла́бленна (жи́лами), носи́ма четы́рьми. И
не могу́щим прибли́житися к Нему́ наро́да
ра́ди, откры́ша покро́в, иде́же бе, и

The Lord said: 9 I am the door: by me if any man
enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out,
and find pasture. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to
steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they
might have life, and that they might have it more
abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd: the good
shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. 12 But he that
is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the
sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth
the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them,
and scattereth the sheep. 13 The hireling fleeth,
because he is an hireling, and careth not for the
sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd, and know my

Рече́ Госпо́дь ко прише́дшым к Нему́ иуде́ем:
Аз есмь дверь, Мно́ю а́ще кто вни́дет,
спасе́тся, и вни́дет, и изы́дет, и па́жить
обря́щет. Тать не прихо́дит, ра́зве да укра́дет,
и убие́т, и погуби́т, Аз приидо́х, да живо́т
и́мут и ли́шше и́мут. Аз есмь па́стырь
до́брый, па́стырь до́брый ду́шу свою́ полага́ет
