Hours: Troparia: Resurrection (When Thou didst descend);
G: The noble Joseph; Kontakion: Myrrh-bearers (When Thou
didst cry, Rejoice, unto the myrrh-bearers).
“Christ is risen from the dead” (thrice) is read at the beginning
of the Hours, Vespers, Compline, Midnight Office, and Matins,
taking the place of “Heavenly King.” So in the case of the
services which begin with the trisagion prayers. At 1st Hour,
6th Hour, and Vespers (assuming the 9th Hour preceded), by
tradition, it replaces “Come let us worship and fall down.”
“Heavenly King” is not read nor sung until the day of the Holy
Trinity (Pentecost).

then didst Thou slay hades with the lightning of Thy
Divinity. /

Иерей: Воскресы́й из ме́ртвых Христо́с,
И́стинный Бог наш, моли́твами Пречи́стыя
Своея́ Ма́тере, свята́го сла́внаго апо́стола
Фомы́ и всех святы́х, поми́лует и спасе́т нас,
я́ко Благ и Человеколю́бец.
По воскресеньям осеняет предстоящих Крестом на
три стороны, громко произнося при каждом
осенении:
Иерей: Христо́с воскре́се!
Люди: Воистину воскресе!
Лик: Христо́с воскре́се из ме́ртвых,/ сме́ртию
смерть попра́в// и су́щим во гробе́х живо́т
дарова́в. (Трижды, поскору)
И нам дарова́ живо́т ве́чный, покланя́емся Его́
тридне́вному Воскресе́нию.
