O Teacher: Today we`ll get acquainted with a new
tense in the English language – the Present
Continuous Tense. Сегодня мы познакомимся с
`
вами с новым временем в английском языке –
Настоящим Продолженным временем.
O You already know one of the Present Tenses – the
Present Simple Tense. Вы уже знаете одно из
настоящих времен – настоящее простое время.
O Look at the example and revise: Mike plays baseball
every weekend. Майк играет в бейсбол каждые
выходные. Our verb PLAYS is in the Present simple
Tense and we know that this action is habitual,
regular. Наш глагол играть стоит в настоящем
простом времени, и мы понимаем, что это
привычное, регулярное действие. Майк играет в
бейсбол каждые выходные.
O Но в английском языке мы имеем возможность
описать происходящие действия более подробно.
Так, мы сегодня научимся с вами, как описать
действие, которое происходит прямо сейчас, в
момент речи.
O Look and compare:
O Майк играет в бейсбол каждые выходные.
O И: Майк играет в бейсбол прямо сейчас.
O Do you see the difference between the verbs: ‘plays’ and ‘is playing’?
Видите разницу между глаголом ‘plays’ и ‘is playing’? In the first
sentence we`ve got a habitual action and in the second one we`ve got an
action taking place right now and it`s continuous. В первом предложении
у нас привычное действие. Оно происходит каждые выходные, а вот
во втором предложении действие происходит прямо сейчас, в момент
речи и оно длительное.
O This is the very difference between these two Present Tenses. – Это и есть
та самая разница между нашими двумя настоящими временами.
O Look:
O The Present Simple Tense describes habitual actions which happen reg
ularly. – Настоящее простое время описывает привычные действия,
которые происходят обычно, регулярно.
O And The Present Continuous Tense describes continuous actions which
happen right now (at the moment) – а Настоящее Продолженное
Время описывает длительные действия (отсюда и название –
Continuous – длительное, продолженное), происходящие сейчас, в
данный момент.
O Now let`s see how we build the Present Continuous Tense. Давайте
посмотрим, как мы образуем Настоящее Продолженное время.
