SUMMER
June, July and August are summer months. It is usually warm or hot in
summer. The days are long and the nights are short. There are a lot of green
trees, bushes and flowers everywhere. Pupils don’t go to school, they have their
summer holidays.
June is the first month of summer. The 21 st (the twenty first) of June is the
longest day of the year. As a rule, I spend June at the seaside with my parents or
friends. We usually go to the Вlack Sea. We swim, play games, and have a lot of
fun there.
July is the middle of summer or the second month of it. It is usually hot, the sun
shines brightly, the sky is blue and there are no clouds in the sky. In July I go to a
camp, as a rule. I have a lot of fun and a happy time there. I swim in the swimming
pool, play sport games, and go for walks with my new friends.
August is the last or the third summer month. It is the end of this season, but it
is not less interesting for me. I go to the country to see and help my
grandparents. I have a nice time in the country. My grandfather usually takes me
fishing. I water the plants and take care of the hens and ducks. Sometimes I help
my grandmother about the house. At the end of August I come back to Chisinau.
I like summer and my summer holidays very much.
