It's prohibited to discharge sewage:
• In close seas: Black Sea, Red Sea, Mediterranean Sea
• All channels and straits
• 12 mills zone
• Rivers, ports, fishing areas
• Special areas
• Discharge waters must be scaled up

- All the garbage is kept in special containers or is burnt in incinerator.

- For sewage water we have sewage treatment plant.
The most dangerous is oil pollution. Every vessel must have the following equipment to prevent
pollution:------------------
- The level of oil in the water before discharge must be 15 ppm
In case of spillage of oil we must
1. Stop oil operation
2. Prevent going oil overboard, we cover the oil with sand, rags, sawdust and after we
collect all in special metal drums.
3. Inform the bridge and act according to Anti-Pollution Muster List
4. Make a note in the logbook concerning all circumstances of the oil discharge.
При разливе нефти в порту сообщается
- name of the vessel название судна
- position of the vessel (place, berth etc.) местоположение судна (причал, район стоянки)
- operations being carried out производимые судном операции
- time of the oil spill detection дата и время обнаружения разлива
- nature of oil contaminated sea surface краткая характеристика загрязненной акватории
(type of floating oil, size of oil slick порта (вид плавающей нефти, размер пятна,
weather and sea conditions) состояние моря и погоды)
- source of oil discharge источник разлива
- name and position of person who has фамилия и должность лица передающего
