Ещё один способ - постановка целей по SMART. Человек разделяет сложные задачи на
несколько конкретных и выполнимых целей, ограниченных по времени и имеющих
количественную оценку и последовательно их выполняет. Согласно результатам опроса,
этот способ не используется активно в повседневной жизни.
Предпоследний способ - всем нам знакомый work-life balance. Думаю, описание ему
давать не нужно. Эффективным его считает почти половина опрошенных, а другая
половина скорее всего просто этого баланса в жизни не имеет)
We have identified 7 main ways which help person to overcome procrastination. I will try to briefly
describe all of them
A popular way to overcome procrastination is to eliminate distractions. It consists in avoiding all factors
that may interfere with the completion of the task. For example, turning off sound and notifications on your
phone. Most respondents chose it as effective
Another method is to set SMART goals. A person divides complex tasks into several specific, achievable,
time-limited and quantifiable goals and completes them one by one. According to the survey results, this
method is not actively used in everyday life.
One of the unusual ways in the fight with procrastination is self-motivation. A person adds activities and
events he enjoys to his schedule. In such situation it would be easier to find time for mandatory, but not
the most enjoyable tasks. According to statistics, half of the respondents do not know about this method,
but 1/3 actively use it in life.
External control is control from people around you regarding the fulfillment of your tasks. Typically, it is
used by people when they are faced with a difficult task. Not everyone has complex tasks, so almost 2/3
of the respondents do not use this method.
The Eisenhower Matrix is used both in everyday life and in the work process. Businesses are divided into
urgent and important, urgent and unimportant, non-urgent and unimportant, non-urgent and important
and, depending on the category, acts are taken on now or later. 34% of respondents consider this method
of overcoming procrastination effective
The penultimate method is the work-life balance, which is familiar to all of us. I think there is no need to
give it a description. Almost half of those surveyed consider it effective, while the other half in my opinion
simply do not have such balance in life)
Finally, according to the survey results the most popular is method of self-motivation - as many as 78% of
respondents use it! Person determines for himself a bonus that he will receive when completes the task.
This increases motivation and also concentration.
