Borrowings from Arabic reflect the historical cultural and trade ties of Europe with the
East – for example the occupation of Spain by the Arabs (VIII-XV centuries), the
Crusades [kruːˈseɪdz] (крестов походы), the opening of the sea route to India and the
defeat (разгром) of the Great Armada (the end of the XVI century). All this became an
incentive [ɪnˈsentɪv] for the revival of England's trade with the East, and later left its
mark on the vocabulary of the English language in the form of borrowings related to
trade with Arab countries, their way of life and natural conditions.
It is important to note that, in the early Middle Ages, when scientific thought in Europe
stopped, in the East science moved forward. The ancient Arabs achieved significant
success in the field of mathematical sciences, astronomy, medicine.
With the beginning of the Renaissance in Europe, interest in the scientific achievements
of the East was awakened [əˈweɪkən]. Arabic language teaching is being introduced at
universities (including Oxford), the works of Oriental scholars written in Arabic are being
studied and translated.

Some words of Greek origin were also borrowed through Arabic. A number of
borrowings from Arabic got into the vocabulary of the English language through: Italian,
Portuguese, Dutch, Spanish, French. Borrowings from the field of science relate mainly
to the XIV-XVI centuries.

The following words of Arabic origin were borrowed through French: calibre, sultan,
magazine.
The word assassin, borrowed from English through Italian, means "eating hashish" and is
associated with the fact that people who attempted to kill the leaders of the crusaders,
previously drugged themselves with hashish.
I agree that the cause and effect at the external level is built correctly. And unfortunately, I
have seen this behavior not only in children, but also in adults. But it seems to me that parents
can do what the child wants, but at the same time they should let him know that he needs to
know the measure or that there is not always an opportunity. so that I don't see anything
wrong with allowing myself to please a child
