These recommended guidelines are intended to provide Little Caesar franchisees with recommended organizational charts and job
descriptions for possible use in connection with their independently owned and operated franchises. Franchisees are responsible for
complying with all applicable laws, including labor and employment laws, in the operation of the franchises, and LCE encourages franchisees
to speak with their attorneys regarding compliance with laws related to the subject matter of these recommended guidelines. LCE does not

Dear Franchisees,
I am excited to share with you the new Little Caesars recommended guidelines. Developed with the assistance of franchisees
and their crew members these recommended guidelines will help you to ensure that each Little Caesars store is operated with a
focus on customer service and operational excellence.
These new recommended guidelines provide recommended organizational charts based on your network size and job profiles
for each position within your store operations.
Please note that franchisees are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, including labor and employment laws, in the
operation of the franchises. Little Caesars encourages franchisees to speak with their attorneys regarding compliance with laws
related to the subject matter of these recommended guidelines. Little Caesars does not provide legal advice to franchisees and
the recommendations contained in this manual should not be construed as legal advice.

CREW MEMBER - RECOMMENDED JOB DESCRIPTION
CREW MEMBER
Reports to: Store Manager and Assistant Manager
JOB SUMMARY:
A Little Caesars® Crew Member works productively as part of the store team and performs their job responsibilities in such a
way that all products they meet Little Caesar brand standards and the customers they serve are satisfied. Specific job duties for
Crew Members vary day-to-day. Previous retail or customer contact experience preferred.
OTHER:
• Ability to follow directions easily, stick to routines, and feel comfortable dealing with other Crew members and
management to achieve store goals.
• This position requires physical work such as: lifting, squatting, and standing up for long periods of time.

CREW MEMBER - RECOMMENDED JOB DESCRIPTION
REQUIREMENTS:
Due to the active role of the Crew Member plays, this position requires physical work such as:
• The ability to lift and move up to 55 lbs (25kg).
• The ability to reach and move items from as high six feet and as low as six inches off the ground.
• The ability to control and utilize equipment safely and correctly; i.e. the sheeter machine, vertical cutting mixer (VCM)
(must be 18 years or over), the sauce ladles, cheese cups, pan grippers, spatula, pizza and dough cutter, different types of
knives, can opener, pastry brush, scales, telephone, cash register, etc.
• The ability to “Shakerboard’ by working outside holding a sign (must be 18 years or over).
• The ability to apply pressure to cut through products.
Additional Requirements:
• The ability to count, separate and weigh all types of food products and inventory items.
• The ability to communicate with customers and co-workers (i.e. reading, speaking, hearing, writing).
• The ability to understand direction, instructions and product specifications.
• The ability to process and complete customers’ orders.
• Must be of legal age to work in the restaurant and to perform the job functions.
• Dependable and hardworking with the ability to handle pressure situations and stress.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to express a positive attitude towards others.
• The ability to perform the essential functions of the job.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Area Supervisor is responsible for achieving sales growth and profitability in their assigned stores by hiring, training,
and supervising Store Managers and Assistant Managers, and ensuring all stores operate according to company standards
and procedures.

AREA SUPERVISOR - RECOMMENDED JOB DESCRIPTION
QUALIFICATIONS:
An Area Supervisor must:
• Be at least 21 years of age (if permitted by applicable law).
• Have excellent math skills, four to seven years of management experience in business, management, marketing, or a
related field.
• Have been a certified Little Caesars® Store Manager and Training Manager for a minimum of nine months, with
proven results.
• Possess excellent leadership, team building and communication skills.
• Have a proven track record of excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Analyze and interpret profit and loss statement data and create action plans to solve any related problems.
• Possess certain personal traits as mentioned in Little Caesars® guiding principles (honesty, loyalty, etc.) and practice
them on a consistent basis.
• Be available to work a varied work week, including evenings and weekends, under pressure and in stressful situations.
• Be able to perform all essential functions of the job.

OPERATIONS MANAGER - RECOMMENDED JOB DESCRIPTION
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Reports to: Director of Operations
JOB SUMMARY:
An Operations Manager is responsible for keeping track of the big picture and identifying potential areas of improvement on
a daily basis.
The Operations Manager performs a critical oversight function for their company. They monitor operations throughout the
company and look for ways to increase productivity and lower costs. This person will often be in direct contact with other
managers within the company, working with them to create policies to improve workflows and minimize points of friction.
PERFORMANCE RESULTS:
• Long-term planning to create initiatives that further the company’s overall goals.
• Coordinating different teams to foster exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities.
• Assessing and analyzing departmental budgets to find ways to minimize expenses and optimize profits.
• Inspiring and motivating employees to perform at their best through positive encouragement and incentive initiatives.
• Communicating with the board or other senior officials about shifting company priorities and projects.
• Identifying potential problems and points of friction and working to find solutions in order to maximize efficiency
and revenue.
• Identifying opportunities to expand or shift course in order to take advantage of changes in the market.
• Accurately collects and processes all daily, weekly, and period-end paperwork as required by Little Caesars® and
the franchisee.
• Troubleshoots the profitability of each store by monitoring daily, weekly, and period-end sales and cost control figures,
meets with Store Managers each period to review profit and loss statements, and sets goals for improvement.
• Properly implements shakerboarding, local store marketing events, and in-store promotions that result in increased sales.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• “Big picture” thinking skills to address top-level concerns and find the best path forward from all of the available data.
• Interpersonal skills to help them communicate with both executives and employees in order to create and
administer policies.
• A thorough understanding of financial and budgeting processes and principles so they can assess the company’s
earnings and spending to find areas for improvement.
• Strong personal and professional judgment, which are invaluable skills for a role that makes hiring decisions.
• Ability to respond quickly to a shifting reality and adjust initiatives and priorities accordingly.
• Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority, which is essential to a role that juggles a variety of
functions and projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Operations Managers generally have several years of manager or supervisor experience.
• Certifications can also be helpful to demonstrate formal education and knowledge in specific subject areas (Certifications
for Operations Managers).
• This role also requires management-level employees to participate in management training programs, either created by
the organization itself or in a general managerial program. This training teaches supplementary tools for managing staff
and optimizing the workplace.
• Since Operations Managers serve in a senior position, it’s important to look for candidates that have significant prior
management or supervisor experience. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience.

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS - RECOMMENDED JOB DESCRIPTION
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Reports to: Franchisee
JOB SUMMARY:
A Director of Operations is responsible for all the operations of a company. They manage all systems and processes that a
company uses every single day. A few of the main duties of a director of operations are managing the productions schedule,
working with vendors, and implementing new implement new franchisee policies. They also help to ensure that the quality
of products is consistent. Some of the job titles that a director of operations has held prior are operations analyst and
production manager.
A Director of Operations will have 10 years of experience. One of the most important skills that a director of operations will have
is problem-solving to assess system issues. Another skill is analytical thinking as the director will need
to look through data all the time. They also need to be able to work independently.
PERFORMANCE RESULTS:
• Analyze data to look at trends and identify problems and solutions.
• Ensure that company policies are followed.
• Optimize business workflows.
• Create new company policies and processes.
• Create a sustainable supply chain.
• Reduce costs in manufacturing.
• Monitor employee production and satisfaction.
