THE GALAXY BUILDER Star Systems
The D100 Space Galaxy Builder adds to D100 Space a way to create Star systems come in all shapes and sizes, but for the purposes of

the section called "Creating A New Galaxy" and follow its instruc-

interest. In D100 Space the name of a star system is also the name
of its star. Its orbiting features are known as points of interest. Each
star system has 10 zones and between 3-6 points of interest. Wormholes Space Station
The Galaxy
The galaxy is vast and the captain's starship is able to fly seamless-
ly from one sector (hex sheet) of the galaxy to the next. When the
Sa
captain leave a sector (a hex sheet) and enters another, you need
to link the two hex sheets together. Sometimes hex sheets will be
placed side by side and other times one on top of another; see Military Docks Dead Planets
"Moving Between Sectors" for more information of how to move
from one sector to another.

To further explain take a look at the diagram below, it shows how
Adding Star Systems the hex sheet will look on edge. The horizontal black line shows

can be done. Follow them in strict order.
1. The Star
The first thing we need to do is add
the star itself. The star is the main fo-
cus of the star system and where all
other points of interest are in orbit.
Draw a circle in the middle of the hex

and draw a line through its middle
for its equator (see example right). It
can be any size, but leave plenty of
room around the edges for points of interest and potential jump

lanes. You will also need to make it big enough to add the star
system's threat level above its equator and a letter and reward
adjustment below.
However, because we are mapping our sector in two dimension
2. Name and Plane (to a flat hex sheet), we need a way to record which star systems
Next, we must name our star system. For convenience each star are above the zero height plane, which star systems are below the
system's name in each sector (hex sheet) begins with a different zero height plane, and which star systems are on the zero height
